inclusive personal
styling
We are a size inclusive styling collective built to serve bodies and identities that the fashion industry has historically overlooked. Our small team works with clients worldwide through virtual services, with select in-person availability in Toronto. Hina Low Studio is led by award-nominated stylist Hina “Heensie” Low, and is supported by experienced size inclusive stylists who have supported clients across everyday personal wardrobes, media appearance styling, and brands including Pinterest, Visa, Walmart, Bell Media and Netflix.
Our work centers plus size styling, while also supporting clients of all sizes who have also felt underserved by the industry—or who are intentionally seeking a progressive, equity-led, and inclusive personal styling team.
style sessions
1:1 consulting
We offer flexible style consulting services shaped around your specific wardrobe needs, priorities, and goals. Each session is designed to provide focused, real-time support that meets you where you are in your style journey.
Most clients work with us virtually via video and through our private styling platform, with sessions available worldwide. For clients in Toronto, in-person support may be available on a limited basis. Please contact us directly for more information.
Sessions can be used in a variety of ways, with examples including:
Developing your personal style and image direction
Refining your wardrobe’s colour palette
Discussing fit, shape, proportion, tailoring, sizing, or understanding body measurements
Discovering size inclusive brands that align with your personal style goals
Developing a capsule wardrobe for travel, wardrobe or everyday life
Special event styling, including bridal, red carpet and media appearances, with retainers available for ongoing support
In addition to personal styling, Hina Low Studio also offers inclusivity consulting for brands and organizations seeking guidance on building more inclusive products, campaigns, and internal practices, with a focus on size inclusion, diversity, and representation.
Our consulting work spans fashion, media, and tech, with past clients including Pinterest, Visa, Walmart, Forever 21, The Toronto Plus Size Fashion Show, and more. Workshops and speaking engagements are available upon request.

Our services are intentionally designed for virtual support, allowing us to use advanced digital styling tools and recommend size inclusive brands worldwide that align with your personal style goals, sizing needs, and budget.
In-person shopping options for plus sizes can be limited. This approach ensures we are not making sacrifices in your style direction.
In some cases, a project may benefit from in-person collaboration. In-person support (currently exclusive to Toronto, Canada) is available on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us directly for more information!
-
When it comes to your everyday closet, our work is grounded in the belief that fewer, well-integrated pieces create stronger long-term outcomes in your wardrobe.
This is particularly important for plus size clients, who are often encouraged to over-purchase when they find something that fits, rather than being supported in building a wardrobe system that truly works for them.
While buying many new items at once can feel productive in the short term, it often acts as a temporary solution rather than addressing how a wardrobe functions as a whole.
For that reason, virtual personal shopping is offered exclusively within our Lookbook services, where any new pieces are introduced intentionally and in context with the rest of your closet, as well as your lifestyle needs.
In-person shopping in Toronto is limited and offered on a case-by-case basis. We also offer sourcing support for special event styling. Please contact us directly to discuss availability and scope.
-
Every client’s needs, timeline, and relationship to style are different. While some people move through a similar styling path, some do not, and we want our services to reflect (and respect!) that reality.
For this reason, we now offer targeted, modular support. You are welcome to take the lead, and let us know exactly what you’d like support with—or, we are glad to offer our advice on what might be best to focus on!
This allows clients to engage with styling in a way that feels responsive and flexible. Our aim is to offer styling support that evolves alongside you, rather than asking you to commit to a fixed package-based structure before you have clarity around what you truly need.
However, many clients choose to “build their own packages” by combining multiple 1:1 sessions.
→ For clients who prefer a more structured approach and are looking for a complete wardrobe overhaul, we can offer a fully customized experience. Please contact us to discuss scope and investment.
Retainer engagements are available for ongoing media, public appearance, and executive styling support. Please contact us for more information.
-
Investment reflects the level of strategy and support involved. Private styling sessions begin at $550 USD ($750 CAD) for 60 minutes.
For larger-scale wardrobe transformations, a custom proposal will be provided.

lookbooks
VIRTUAL STYLING
We provide virtual outfit styling via our custom Lookbook service. Using our digital closet system, we begin by mapping what is already working within your wardrobe. Your closet uploads are reviewed in full by our inclusive styling team to identify core pieces, recurring patterns, and underutilized items. This allows us to understand how your wardrobe currently functions, where friction exists, and how small adjustments can create significantly more versatility in your styling process.
From this analysis, we develop a custom digital Lookbook consisting of your choice of 5, 15, or 30 styled outfits. Each look is intentionally constructed to demonstrate how your wardrobe can operate as a functional system. When gaps are identified, we will source a few carefully selected wardrobe additions designed to unlock your closet’s full potential, with active shoppable links included.
All recommendations are sourced with your measurements in mind and selected from size inclusive brands. These pieces are chosen as strategic connectors in your wardrobe that will increase wearability and support your long-term style direction. The maximum number of new wardrobe additions recommended will depend on the size of the Lookbook you choose, while some clients prefer to only receive looks styled from their currently owned pieces.
Note: this service is asynchronous and does not automatically include a 1:1 style session. For clients seeking deeper style analysis before Lookbook creation, we suggest booking a 1:1 style consulting session.
-
When it genuinely supports your wardrobe’s versatility or your personal style goals, we will recommend a limited number of new pieces (with shoppable links included).
This typically includes 1-3 new key pieces for a 5-look Lookbook, 5 to 7 for a 15-look Lookbook, and up to 10 for a 30-look Lookbook. This number is an estimate, and the final number of suggestions is ultimately at the stylist’s discretion. You are also welcome to request no new items to be suggested.
The focus of this service is on creating impact through thoughtful styling, a fresh perspective on what you already own, and a stronger understanding of how your pieces function together.
Because of this approach, Lookbooks are most effective when there is an existing foundation to build from. Having core pieces in place allows us to create stronger results.
If your wardrobe is not quite there yet, we can pause the Lookbook service for up to three months while you build a small foundation of key pieces. Once you are ready, we resume and move forward with a stronger starting point!
→ If you feel that you do not currently own any pieces that you enjoy, please feel free to contact us directly for a custom personal shopping quote, starting at $1500 USD ($2000 CAD).
-
Absolutely!
Clients are welcome to request a specific focus, such as travel, workwear, seasonal dressing, or even a capsule wardrobe-style approach.
Special event, bridal and media appearance styling is a separate service—please contact us directly for details.
-
Not necessarily!
Some clients book a Lookbook without a prior 1:1 session, particularly if they have a strong sense of their personal style and are able to articulate direction and preferences, or if they want to explore their current wardrobe’s potential and are comfortable with our team leading the creative direction.
In these cases, our intake questionnaire and visual references provide everything needed to create a thoughtful, cohesive Lookbook.
A 1:1 session can be a valuable starting point if you’re interested in a deeper exploration of your style goals, want to refine or clarify your direction before we begin, or would benefit from talking through priorities, fit considerations, or wardrobe gaps in more detail.
If you’re unsure which option is right for you, we’re happy to help you decide.
-
Lookbooks are designed to provide a range of styling ideas rather than a prescriptive uniform. The goal is to expand how you see and use your wardrobe, not to create a single “correct” way of dressing.
However, while optional, completing a 1:1 style session beforehand improves the chances that every look will hit the mark, as our stylists will have a detailed view into your personal style direction.
-
Yes! Your Lookbook is built primarily from pieces you already own, with a focus on helping your wardrobe work harder for you.
Please ensure that the items you upload into the virtual closet system are pieces which currently fit you and feel good on your body.
We identify underused items, reimagine familiar favorites, and show how your existing pieces can be styled in more versatile and exciting ways.
If new pieces are recommended, they are sourced from brands doing innovative work in inclusive fashion and are always selected with your specific sizing needs and measurements in mind.
-
All Lookbook services automatically include: detailed onboarding forms to understand your style direction, access to our private virtual closet system, your chosen number of professionally styled looks and size inclusive personal shopping; when it meaningfully supports your style direction,a few new pieces may be introduced to work in harmony with your existing wardrobe and long-term style goals.

CLOSET EDITS
in-person, toronto
The in-person closet edit is designed to help you better understand what already works in your wardrobe and thoughtfully let go of what no longer aligns with your style goals. The goal is to create a strong foundation that makes future styling, shopping, and outfit planning more straightforward, while ensuring your wardrobe reflects your current body, lifestyle, and priorities rather than past versions of yourself.
The process begins with a 1:1 virtual consultation led by our lead stylist, Hina Low. During this call, we’ll discuss your personal style, lifestyle needs, and overall wardrobe direction, identifying patterns, gaps, and opportunities in your closet. Following the session, you’ll receive a style summary outlining your key wardrobe goals, which will serve as the foundation for your closet edit and ensure all decisions are made with clarity and consistency.
A member of the Hina Low Studio team with a background in professional home and wardrobe organizing will then visit your home in Toronto for a 3.5-hour in-person session.
The first 30 minutes are spent reviewing your style brief together, followed by three hours of focused decluttering. Pieces are evaluated against your style goals, keeping what aligns and editing out what no longer serves you, with an emphasis on decision-making support rather than pressure. If desired, we can photograph select items for upload into your virtual closet system or help you capture pieces you plan to resell. Up to five large bags of clothing can be removed at the end of the session for donation, should you choose that option.
→ Limited availability. Travel fees will apply for locations outside of Toronto, Ontario.
-
Please reach out to us directly via our contact page to confirm availability and move forward with a booking.
-
Our lead stylist (Hina Low) hosts the initial virtual consultation and establishes your strategic style direction.
The in-person closet edit is completed by a trusted member of the Hina Low Studio team, who is also a professional home organizer, allowing the process to be thoughtful, efficient and aligned with your style goals.
You’ll meet both Hina and your in-person organizer during the initial virtual consultation to ensure a seamless, well-coordinated experience!
-
We’ll guide you through everything you need to prepare ahead of time during your initial virtual consultation. In most cases, we simply ask that your clothing be accessible and that you allow enough space to move through your closet comfortably. No pre-sorting or organizing is required!
-
At the end of your session, up to five bags of clothing can be removed for donation if you choose.
We’re also happy to help identify pieces you may want to resell or photograph select items for documentation in your virtual closet system.
-
What we’re able to cover in a single session (3.5 hours) can vary depending on the size of your wardrobe, how your clothing is organized, and the level of decision-making involved.
For some people, editing their wardrobe can be a more emotionally involved process. Your personal relationship with your wardrobe will naturally shape what we’re able to accomplish within the time you’ve booked.
Some clients are able to move through their entire closet in one session, while others choose to focus on specific categories or areas.
If additional time is needed, we’re always happy to book follow-up sessions, or to leave you with clear, actionable guidance so you can continue the process on your own.

Yes, we work with adults across a wide range of ages and life stages. Our approach is grounded in your individual needs, lifestyle, and style goals rather than age-based rules or assumptions. The focus is always on creating a wardrobe that feels relevant, supportive, and reflective of where you are now.
-
Our commitment to inclusivity is rooted in both lived experience and over a decade of professional practice.
Hina “Heensie” Low began her career working in fashion as a personal shopper and visual merchandiser in the plus size department of a major clothing retailer, and from the start of her freelance styling work, made a deliberate decision to centre people who have historically been excluded from the mainstream fashion conversation.
All Hina Low Studio services are weight and size neutral, and our process never imposes restrictive rules or outdated beliefs about bodies and clothing. From initial intake forms to brand recommendations and the visual references we use, every part of our process is intentionally designed with size inclusivity in mind. We prioritize working with and recommending brands that offer plus sizing, even when styling straight size clients.
We consider sizing needs across all areas of styling, not only clothing, but also accessories, footwear, and the resources we share. This includes investing in tools that reflect plus size bodies accurately, such as custom measurement charts designed around plus size bodies rather than default straight size templates.
Our work is informed by Hina’s lived experience as a plus size person, alongside years of styling bodies across the full spectrum of plus sizing.
Every stylist on our team either brings similar lived experience or is extensively trained in our size inclusive methodology, an anti oppressive framework that goes beyond styling clothes and remains attentive to the emotional and social realities many clients carry into the process.
Our goal is to create styling support that is affirming, informed, and accessible to people of all sizes, ages, and genders.
-
While we do support media appearance and special event styling, personal styling is just as often about everyday life. Many clients work with us to simplify getting dressed, build a more cohesive wardrobe, or feel more confident and comfortable in their clothes across changing bodies, sizes, and seasons of life. Our services are rooted in size inclusive, real-world styling and are designed to support real lives and real wardrobes.
-
Hina Low Studio services are primarily offered virtually, worldwide, with select services offered in Toronto, Canada on a limited basis.
This allows us to work with clients globally and to recruit the best talent in inclusive styling, regardless of location.

Our approach is grounded in respect, consent, and collaboration. We move at your pace, avoid prescriptive or judgmental language, and focus on supporting you in making choices that feel right for your body, identity, and life as it is now.
You are always in control of decisions about your wardrobe, and our role is to offer guidance and tools, not pressure! Many clients come to us after challenging experiences with styling or clothing in general, and we’re mindful of creating a process that feels supportive, warm and affirming.
-
That’s very common! Our services are designed to meet you where you are and evolve alongside your needs, rather than follow a rigid or prescriptive package.
Some clients begin with a single 1:1 session, while others move directly into a lookbook or closet edit. From there, additional 1:1 sessions can be booked as needed, based on what feels most useful at each stage.
If you’re unsure which option makes the most sense for you, we’re always here to support you and help you decide.
